Spotlight News is an editorial design project focused on presenting dense content in a clear and engaging way. The goal was to create a layout that guides the reader while maintaining strong visual interest.

As the editorial designer, I created the page layout, established the visual hierarchy, and collaborated with editors to organize articles, photography, and advertising into a cohesive publication.

The design uses a structured grid, bold typography, and intentional image placement to improve readability and establish a clear visual hierarchy. Each section is organized to help the reader move through the content with ease.

Careful attention was given to spacing, alignment, and balance to create a cohesive layout. The result is a visually engaging editorial experience that feels both polished and easy to navigate.
