Rethinking Reading Strategies is an editorial design project focused on improving readability, accessibility, and educational engagement through typography and layout systems. Inspired by SUNY New Paltz’s connection to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the project reflects themes of quality education, accessibility, and inclusive learning.

Rethinking Reading Strategies is an editorial design project focused on improving readability, accessibility, and educational engagement through typography and layout systems. The process began with researching reading strategies and organizing educational information into a structured editorial format. Using grid systems, typographic hierarchy, and visual pacing, I explored ways to make dense information feel more approachable, engaging, and easier to navigate.

Throughout the design process, I refined layouts and visual systems to balance clarity with visual interest. The final outcome demonstrates how thoughtful editorial design can support accessibility, encourage engagement, and create stronger educational experiences through typography and structure.
