This album cover series is a conceptual editorial project created as part of a graphic design course. The objective was to translate randomly assigned genres and descriptive words into a cohesive album cover that visually captured the mood, personality, and atmosphere of an imagined musical artist.

As the designer, I interpreted abstract concepts and transformed them into a visual identity through typography, composition, imagery, and color. Every design decision was guided by the assigned genre and descriptive words, challenging me to communicate emotion and storytelling through a single album cover.

This project strengthened my ability to think conceptually and communicate ideas through design. Rather than designing for a real artist, the challenge was to create a believable visual identity using only a few descriptive prompts, encouraging experimentation with composition, typography, and visual storytelling.

The final album cover demonstrates how graphic design can translate abstract ideas into a recognizable visual identity. By combining typography, imagery, and composition, the design creates a strong first impression while reflecting the assigned genre and creative direction.
