This editorial design project focused on creating a visually engaging magazine spread based on an article about Olympic gymnast Simone Biles written by Carla Correa. The goal was to transform a long-form story into a publication that balanced readability, typography, and imagery while capturing the energy and emotion of the subject.

As the editorial designer, I developed the page layout, established a clear visual hierarchy, and integrated typography with photography to guide the reader through the article. The design emphasizes movement and contrast, using bold imagery and structured layouts to reflect Simone Biles' strength, determination, and athleticism.

This project challenged me to communicate emotion through editorial design while maintaining readability. Careful attention was given to typography, spacing, and composition to create a balanced layout that supports the story without overwhelming the reader.
