Traditional editorial experiences often lack interaction and immersion, making it difficult for users to feel emotionally connected to the content or environment being presented. Many digital articles rely heavily on static layouts that do not fully take advantage of modern interface and storytelling possibilities.
solution
This project reimagines the editorial experience through interactive storytelling, atmospheric visuals, and user-centered interface design. By combining structured navigation, immersive layouts, and refined visual systems, the experience transforms a traditional article into an engaging digital journey inspired by Fulton Restaurant and New York’s waterfront culture.
Throughout the project, I explored how editorial design can extend beyond static layouts by introducing movement and interaction. The challenge was balancing readability with visual engagement so users could naturally progress through the story without losing focus on the content.
The final experience demonstrates how thoughtful interaction design and editorial principles can work together to create a more engaging digital storytelling experience.
